On-demand ridesharing has been popularized through the last five years. Still, Sprynt had the bold idea to shake up the space with a unique spin. They set out to offer completely free rides to patrons with the support of local businesses. Oh, and they would use their own, unique, eco-friendly electric fleet.
For the past decade, we regularly have said we’re building businesses, not apps. That’s why our process started with creating a memorable brand for Sprynt. The logo can now be seen driving around D.C., on the Sprynt driver shirts, and obviously within their app and website.
Having their team in my corner provided me the peace of mind needed to allow me to focus on the countless other aspects of launching and running my company. They have earned my business, respect, and most importantly, my trust. They truly are an invaluable partner.

Compared to most other apps, real-time processing is absolutely crucial to Sprynt. As a Google Developer Agency, we regularly work with Google technologies such as Firebase. We leveraged several Firebase features —including newly released ones—to ensure riders & drivers communicate seamlessly. Google was so impressed they featured our Sprynt work on the Firebase blog.
The Sprynt system is on demand, which means we had to create two separate experiences: one for the driver and one for the rider. We were very purposeful in designing the driver app to exclusively—and safely—focus on interacting with and facilitating incoming ride requests. On the rider side, we paid special attention to a fast, simple onboarding experience to request a ride as quickly as possible.
